LAYTON SOLVING A CHESS PUZZLE

You drew this very well, and I especially like how you've portrayed Layton's thinking expression. The background is also very nice. Luke's expression here just kills me, because when I first saw it I didn't realize his lips were actually supposed to be making an "O" shape. So to me he had this ridiculously cartoonish "C" smile, and paired with his wide eyes it just made me laugh. I think it might've been better if you'd colored the inside of his mouth dark red, instead of just leaving it blank like that - as white is a lot closer to his skin tone as apposed to the darker colors you'd expect for a mouth, and there are quite a few white highlights on objects here - which only makes it easier to perceive this drawing incorrectly.
